i remember when avril lavigne recorder “girlfriend” in like eight different languages and I bought all of them but the mandarin version was my favorite…
Buzz Aldrin took this picture of Neil Armstrong in the cabin after the completion of the first EVA. This is the face of the first man to set foot on the Moon, just hours earlier, on July 20th, 1969.
Neil Armstrong was a quiet self-described nerdy engineer who became a global hero when as a steely-nerved pilot he made “one giant leap for mankind” with a small step on to the moon. The modest man who had people on Earth entranced and awed from almost a quarter million miles away has died. He was 82.
For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink. ”
When I was little I always knew that one day when I grew up people would question my morals, career, beauty, religion, words, style, intelligence, and choices. I was so scared. What if everything I did was wrong? I grew up fearful of not being good enough. Well I’m 21 now and I am so proud of myself. I am a modest person and I honestly wish more people felt a sense of modest pride in themselves. We all deserve to be as happy as our happiest moment. Go out and get some fresh air and stop licking old wounds (it’s not only unsanitary it’s bad for your happiness). Get hurt, dance, fall in love, and eat delicious food. Oh and floss, bathe, and groom yourself too.. but most of all learn to accept that life is worth living for to the fullest, pit stops and all. ”
